( 1 ) The assignment 



  1. Watch the remaining recommended stop-motion animations included in the class lecture presentation.
  2. Read “The Surprise and Wonder of Early Animation* https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2019/12/30/the-surprise-and-wonder-of-early-animation
  3. *Note: many of the animations in the New Yorker piece are in the brief history deck. Also, here is a PDF version of it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12p15_XeIgr4ZHASW-1hRX9Saql-V8JU8/view?usp=sharing
  4. In teams of two and using StopMotionStudio, create two stop motion loops, incorporating and demonstrating at least 2 of the principles of animation.
  5. Export them as Animated Gifs. (see http://www.gifparanoia.org for inspiration.
  6. Upload them to your documentation site. Include a brief reflection.
